Executive Director, Transportation Safety Equipment Institute
Paul Menig is a holder of the Silver Spark Plug from the ATA Technology and Maintenance council and the former head of Mechatronics at Daimler Truck North America, where he was responsible for all electrical, electronic, brake, and safety systems. He led developments in automated mechanical transmissions, anti-lock braking, instrumentation, communications, telematics, radar cruise control, and lane keeping. He now is Executive Director of the Transportation Safety Equipment Institute, a small trade association actively working toward safety for over 60 years. He also remains active as a business coach focusing on manufacturing, technology, and transportation.
